Pesach

I am a disabled activist and a Free Our People Advocate. Its Passover- The Jewish festival for celebrating our freedom from slavery when we led out of Egypt by Moses. This festival reminds me that none of us are free until we are all free from oppression, institutionalisation and injustice. The traditional sader plate symbolises the sacifies and the experiences that Jews experienced whilst being enslaved in Egypt. There are three additional items on my sader plate the orange, banana and blue key that represents LBGTQ+, refugees and disabled peoples continued struggle for their freedom. I have decided that during Passover I will do something every day that is about getting disabled people out of these awful institutions.
